How do I get started?
Its simple! Simply come down and introduce yourself during a weekly class. Monday nights are a great introduction to the sport and you more than welcome to sit back and watch or get involved with a free trail. You can also send us an email prior to your visit to quickly introduce yourself and help put a name to the face but this is not compulsory.
Do I need martial arts experience?
No! You do not need any martial arts or sport experience. Everyone's martial arts journey is different and we encourage you to get involved at a pace you are comfortable with.
Do I have to compete?
No! All of our members have different reasons and motivations for their involvement in our sport. We will support you if you choose to enter a competition however the decision is entirely yours. The mixture of keen competitors and social rollers is what makes our club welcoming to all!
What do I need to bring to a class?
If you have your own Gi (kimono) bring it, if not simply bring sports clothes. Rash guards or compression gear is popular but not compulsory. Bring a small towel, a bottle of water and a positive attitude!
Mouth guards are also optional.
